I promise to work as quickly as possible but I will never sacrifice quality to save time. I work in a clean, organized studio and use only high quality materials, supplies and professional tools. I am covered by insurance for your peace of mind. I always maintain complete confidentiality, so you never need to be concerned about your intimate information or original designs being compromised.
About Me
My love for beautiful, luxurious fabrics, lace and all things related began at a very early age. I began my sewing career at age five, and have never stopped.
I am a romantic in my heart and soul, so my progression into the Bridal and Formal wear industry was a given. I have been employed in the industry in one capacity or another for well over 30 years. This gives me a unique perspective in terms of understanding how the retail market works, how these garments are constructed and how best to meet your needs.
Today, I am blessed to be able to design, sew and create beautiful clothing made from lovely materials. I love the thrill of completing a project that has so much meaning for its recipient. I love the challenge of using your picture, your drawing, your vision and making it come to life in fabric. I love working with such precious, fragile family heirlooms and bringing them "fresh life" for a new special occasion.
Whether you need alterations, a custom designed gown or garment for general wear or a special event, a dress for a child or your designs facilitated into a marketable line, I can provide services for you. I can deliver the garment that you envisioned without compromise. It will fit properly, be the color you desire, the detail will be exquisite and the construction will be professional. I am committed to quality.
I am trained in Garment Design, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Garment Draping and am familiar with professional industry standards for construction and alterations. I continue to attend training and courses with professionals, so I am familiar with new techniques and available materials. I proudly maintain membership in several professional organizations, including the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals, The American Sewing Association and the American Sewing Guild. I am a licensed business, insured and promise to provide nothing less than ethical, professional service at all times.
